WWE Crown Jewel 2021 will have a women’s division match on the card and this time around a title will be involved in the capacity. Saudi Arabia authority has been allowing WWE to bring some selected women to be present in the country during their PPV events for TV presence, trying to break the barriers for the females. Now, three top superstars of the WWE will fight out in the ring for a title from Smackdown.
As per the announcement, a Triple Threat Match for the SmackDown Women’s Title will take place at the WWE Crown Jewel 2021 event from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The reigning champion Becky Lynch will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair on that night.

The feud over the title continued on this week’s WWE Draft edition of SmackDown on FOX where Sasha Banks made her return to the show. The Boss showed up at WWE Extreme Rules last Sunday, during Lynch vs. Belair title match. She attacked both of them and then informed that she would see them on SmackDown. Then WWE booked Banks vs. Belair Wrestlemania 37 rematch on the show.

In more news to the situation, Bianca Belair has been moved to the Raw roster, meaning that she will move to the red brand. In turn, the Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has been drafted back to Smackdown.
As noted, WWE Crown Jewel will mark the third WWE women’s division match to take place at an event in Saudi Arabia. Natalya defeated Lacey Evans in a historic inaugural all-female match at Crown Jewel 2019 while Bayley retained the SmackDown Women’s Title over Naomi at Super ShowDown 2020. It was the first-ever women’s title match in the Kingdom.
WWE Crown Jewel 2021 is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 21 from Mohammed Abdu Arena on The Boulevard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The PPV show will air live on Peacock (United States) and the WWE Network from 12 PM ET onwards. The updated card for the PPV stands as follows following this week’s Smackdown,
