For the first time in more than two months, Asuka will be seen defending his title at WWE Elimination Chamber 2021. As seen on Raw, this week, Lacey Evans vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka is now official for the upcoming pay-per-view event after the set of incidents that transpired.
Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair had a confrontation on the show over their personal issues after which Ric Flair informed that they will be competing in a match. The stipulation of the match stated that if Evans could pick up the non-title win over Flair then she would be granted a title shot.
WWE Raw Results (08/02/21): McIntyre vs Orton; Charlotte vs Lacey Evans
Evans then grabbed the opportunity to defeat Charlotte Flair in a singles match on RAW. Evans won that match via DQ after Flair snapped on her in the corner and put hands on a referee. It happened over her frustrations with her father and Evans who are continuously put The Queen intro troubles over the past few weeks. Once the match was over, it was announced that Asuka vs Evans will go down at Elimination Chamber 2021 PPV event. This will be the first time that Asuka puts her title on the line since November of last year.
Edge Notes On Controversy Over WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Win
A huge Triple Threat for the WWE United States Title has also been announced for the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 pay-per-view event. This match will see Bobby Lashley defending his title against Riddle and Keith Lee.
The Triple Threat was made after Lee and Riddle had a friendly conversation, backstage before competing in singles action on RAW. Lee won the match hitting his pendant Spirit Bomb on Riddle. But then Lashley attacked both the competitors and destroyed them both in and outside the ring.
Prior to these two announcements, the WWE Championship match was also made official during the opening sequence of Monday Night Raw. Shane McMahon returned on the show to make the title match official for Drew McIntyre inside the chamber structure.
