WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 will witness the WWE Hall of Famer Lita returning to singles action after a long time. She will challenge Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch for the title at the upcoming event that will be her first standard women’s singles contest since late 2006 when she retired from competition.
2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match winner, Ronda Rousey made her return to Raw in the final segment to announce who she will face at Wrestlemania 38. She apparently has unfinished business with both RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch or SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair on The Grandest Stage of Them All and the decision will be let known on this week’s Smackdown.

Lynch interrupted the segment and received a judo throw stunt by Rousey. After the UFC Hall of Famer left the ring, Lynch wanted to deliver a promo but she was interrupted by Lita, who came out to a huge pop. Lita talked about Lynch being a fighting champion and then proceeded to challenge her to a match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022.

Initially, Lynch backed down from the challenge since she is portraying a heel character on TV. But then Lita taunted her for being afraid which made the champion infuriated as she went on to accept the challenge. Thus, the dream match between two absolute bests from two generations has been confirmed for Elimination Chamber 2022.
Lita made her return to in-ring action in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match on Saturday. She entered at the number 26 spot and survived just over 10 minutes before being eliminated by Charlotte Flair as the 25th elimination. Before that, she eliminated the Impact Knockouts Champion Mickie James.
