A new title match has been added to the next premium live event in the WWE calendar, Elimination Chamber 2022. The SmackDown Tag Team Titles will be on the line at the upcoming show where The Usos – Jimmy and Jey Uso will defend their titles against The Viking Raiders – Erik and Ivar on February 19 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Erik and Ivar have been number-one contenders since winning a Fatal 4 Way on the January 14 edition of SmackDown. The other teams on that bout were Mansoor and Cesaro, Jinder Mahal and Shanky, and Los Lotharios – Angel and Humberto. The exact title match opportunity for the former Raw tag team champions was up in the air until this latest Elimination Chamber 2022 announcement.

It’s likely that the feud between the champions and the challengers will continue to get hyped up on this week’s edition of Friday Night Smackdown. The Usos will also accompany their cousin WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to get joined by the Special Counsel, Paul Heyman. At this point, Roman is rumored to face the returning Goldberg at Elimination Chamber 2022.

Over on Raw, WWE announced that the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will defend his title against 5 other challengers at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 event inside the Chamber structure. It was then announced during the beginning of the show that Brock Lesnar will be joining Lashley inside the Chamber to make his very first appearance inside the steel cage structure.
The six-match lineup was finalized by the end of the show and it now stands to be Lashley vs. Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory vs. Riddle vs. AJ Styles. Rollins was handed his spot due to the Royal Rumble title match performance. Theory defeated Kevin Owens to qualify, Riddle defeated RAW Tag Team Champion Otis to qualify while AJ defeated Rey Mysterio to qualify.
