On the September 9 episode of Smackdown, Ronda Rousey received yet another title shot at the Extreme Rules 2022 premium live event. She would challenge the current champion, Liv Morgan, in the third match in their ongoing feud on the blue brand. A stipulation has also been added to their title match showdown to make it a must-see. In an update, we expect the title to change hands, as well.
According to BetOnline, the latest betting odds indicate that Ronda Rousey is the -500 favorite to win the title while Morgan is the +300 underdog. Going by this, it’s certain to expect Rousey to become a three-time women’s champion at Extreme Rules 2022 while the Miracle Kid’s miracle run will come to an end.

We will have to wait and see whether Liv Morgan finds a way to escape with the title, just like she did on the past two occasions against Rousey and even against her best friend Shayna Baszler. But given that the scheduled match at Extreme Rules 2022 will be contested under Extreme Rules stipulations, Rousey is a heavy favorite to emerge victorious.

Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey feud on for Extreme Rules 2022
Liv Morgan won the Money In The Bank ladder match and then cashed it in on Ronda Rousey on that same night to fulfill her dream to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion in the WWE. The former Riott Squad member then also defended her title successfully against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam due to a controversial call by the official. Now the third match between them is set for Extreme Rules 2022.
Rousey then became the Number-One Contender to Morgan’s SmackDown Women’s Title by winning a Fatal-5-Way Elimination Match, defeating the likes of Xia Li, Sonya Deville, Natalya, and Lacey Evans. The contest came down to Devile and Rousey as the latter made the former tap out with the Ankle Lock submission and thereby secure the title match at Extreme Rules 2022.
Rousey and Morgan featured in a face-to-face segment on Smackdown where Rousey was challenged to an Extreme Rules Match by Morgan. The champion dared to lay down the challenger since she is the only person to pin Rousey not once, but twice. An irate Rousey promised that Extreme Rules 2022 will mark Morgan’s funeral before leaving the scene.
