The 26th Royal Rumble might not be worst Rumble match ever, but it certainly it disappointed the fans a lot. Not only fans, but also have some of the former WWE superstars admitted frustration as well. After the event, Mick Foley’s son Dewey Foley loathed Triple H and the creative for poor storylines, which we have discussed about earlier in a different article.

First of all, Batista winning the Rumble was not certainly accepted by the fans. I checked the reactions of the fans on Facebook and Twitter where I do not see anyone look so pleased with the victory of Batista. Clearly, they are going to build up a Batista vs. Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania XXX. That might be a good idea, but Batista winning the Rumble match is seriously not something fans loved. Even Batista is frustrated with the reactions he is having from the fans.

Another bad thing about the event is; no Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble match. It was a terrible idea not to put Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble match. Poor Rey Mysterio got booed when he entered the rumble and the fans realized that there is no Daniel Bryan in the Rumble match. Yes, certainly it was a very bad idea. Daniel Bryan is currently the man on the driving sit, he is currently the favorite, and not putting him in one of the most anticipated match of the year is seriously a bogus idea.

I have another point which is really bad about Royal Rumble 2014. Roman Reigns eliminating 12 superstars from the Rumble and breaks Kane’s record. This is absolutely terrible. WWE never Kane anything, this was whatever he had in his WWE career, now, WWE took that away from him too. This is not what I say, this is what the WWE universe think. I do not know if you would agree with me here, but whatever WWE is doing with Roman Reigns is a bit too much. I am not saying that Reigns does not deserve a push, but this way too much. In his first Royal Rumble, he breaks Kane’s record.

Lastly, these all incidents might be creating a negative publicity, but you know hat, this is what actually best for business. You see, Daniel Bryan not involved in the Rumble match was not a pre planned storyline, but when they realized it is growing negative publicity, they made story out of it. With each and every small matter, the creative can make storylines, and this type of publicity always attracts a huge number of fans. And yes, this is seriously best for business.
