WWE is coming with Fastlane 2021, this Sunday night from ThunderDome in Florida. This is the final PPV before WrestleMania 37 which could also be the last one at the Tropicana Field as the company is likely to move the set, next month. To date, six matches have been confirmed for the upcoming event but one of them could already be nixed from the card.
As seen on Monday Night Raw, Shane McMahon vs Braun Strowman was made official for Fastlane 2021 after the two continued the feud. The two are all set for a collision course as Shane McMahon has a vendetta of proving Strowman, stupid. Then he also covered the Monster Among Men with green slime to continue with utter humiliations.
Apparently, that match may not be happening, after all. Interestingly, WWE.com no longer lists McMahon vs Strowman at Fastlane 2021 section although it was published on the website following Raw. There’s no confirmed update on what is going with the situation. Perhaps a creative dispute might have announced the match, Monday Night while it was never intended to take place in the first place.
WWE NXT TakeOver Stand And Deliver: Multiple Title Matches Announced
Shane McMahon competing at Fastlane 2021 surprised some of the fans as he, in general, participates in big-time events like WrestleMania. Plus, his feud with Strowman is yet to built in a proper way before culmination. So, it’s a no-brainer that WWE would want this to insert at the Biggest Event of the Year, instead of as we expect for an official announcement.
But in the meantime, another match could be added to Fastlane 2021 and this one should be contested for the United States Title. As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, Riddle defeated Mustafa Ali to retain the mid-card belt. RETRIBUTION member T-Bar distracted the referee during this match when Ali had Riddle pinned in the match.

Ali obviously blamed his loss on other RETRIBUTION members. Now he is eyeing a rematch for the US Title this Sunday at WWE Fastlane 2021 pay-per-view.
Here’s what Ali had to say in a video he posted on his Twitter handle,
“Riddle, that’s one match a piece. So I say we do it one more time this Sunday at Fastlane, for the United States Championship. Maybe someone will actually follow orders!”
