Legendary WWE Superstar Kane will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, this year. He appeared on WWE’s The Bump this week to get surprised by The Undertaker with the announcement. The Deadman was honored to give him the breaking news in a video chat session which primarily seemed unbelievable for Kane. But then WWE officially announced the induction.

Kane will be joining The Great Khali, Molly Holly, and Eric Bischoff as confirmed names for the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame Class. Rob Van Dam is also rumored for a spot for the prestigious ceremony but WWE is yet to confirm the same.

Kane, the latest induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, has been with WWE since 1995. In recent times, he has not wrestled for the company since a surprise appearance in the 2021 Royal Rumble Match this past January. Before this, he was involved in a WWE 24/7 Title change with current champion R-Truth at the September 16, 2019, RAW in Knoxville, the same county from which he announced his re-election campaign for Mayor post.

Several stars took to Twitter to congratulate Kane on his 2021 WWE Hall of Fame induction. The Undertaker, Triple H, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, JBL, and many more have let known how deserving this honor was for The Big Red Machine.

The Great Khali also joins the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame

WWE has also officially announced that the former World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali will be inducted into the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame Class. Earlier this morning, WWE India released a video where Khali’s in-ring valet Ranjin Singh (Dave Kapoor) revealed the big news to Khali via video call. Singh has worked in WWE creative for several years but he is best known for his TV act with the gigantic superstar.

Khali started working with WWE in 2006 and he spent the next eight years in the company before his contract ran out in 2014 when. In India, he opened his own wrestling school and promotion named Continental Wrestling Entertainment. His final appearance in WWE was at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in April 2018 for the 50-Man Rumble match in Saudi Arabia.

The 2020 and 2021 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will air on Tuesday, April 6 during WrestleMania 37 Week, simultaneously on Peacock and the WWE Network. The 2020 Class features JBL, The Bella Twins, Jushin Thunder Liger, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, and the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman) while the 2021 class has Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Kane, and The Great Khali. WWE is likely to tape the ceremony from the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field on Tuesday, March 30, and Thursday, April 1.
