WWE Hall of Fame 2023 ceremony is expected to be another star-studded night under the bright lights in Hollywood. It appears that WWE has a big name set for the headliner of next year’s ceremony in the former WWE Champion, Batista.
Since WWE has yet to fully confirm the lineup for this year’s Hall of Fame class, rumors started running that the impending induction of Batista could go down, this year in Texas. However, reports affirm that The Animal’s induction wasn’t happening, this year but it may take place during WWE Hall of Fame 2023 during the Wrestlemania 39 weekend.

Batista was originally scheduled for the 2020 Class, but the ceremony was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. WWE then announced that the 2020 Class would be inducted along with the 2021 Class last year in a virtual ceremony but Batista was erased from the list of inductees. The movie star later announced that he could not make it to the event due to previous obligations.

In his statement, he also confirmed that WWE granted his request of getting inducted into the Hall of Fame at a later ceremony. In an update from PWInsider, Batista was set to attend the 2022 Hall Of Fame ceremony on April 1st but his own induction will only take place during WWE Hall of Fame 2023 ceremony,
“It is expected he’ll be in attendance in Dallas for Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction.
We are told that internally, Batista’s official induction ceremony is more likely for next year in Los Angeles.”
It’s not confirmed whether WWE Hall of Fame 2023 will indeed be happening in LA but the company generally hosts the prestigious ceremony during the ‘Mania weekend and that is scheduled from Hollywood, next year.
The 2022 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place on Friday, April 1 from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and the event aired live on Peacock and the WWE Network. It’s been slotted following the WrestleMania 38 go-home edition of SmackDown. The Undertaker, Vader, and Queen Sharmell were among the names for the 2022 Class.
