The Miz is widely considered as one of the best talkers in professional wrestling history. He has also been a top star of WWE. Being a two times former WWE champion, the A Lister has been one of the most famous stars of WWE. He has also won multiple other prestigious championships.
Two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently mentioned this former two times WWE World Champion and used him as a comparison for one of the newest stars of Friday Night Smackdown that is the Australian professional wrestler Grayson Waller who had been pretty impressive since the very first day of joining the promotion.
WWE Hall Of Famer Compares Smackdown Star To A Young Miz – Who’s The Rising Talent?
Waller received massive praise from both critics and fans after becoming a part of the main roster. He was drafted to Friday night Smackdown from the NXT on WWE draft that took place on April and May. Booker T who is a former five times WCW World Heavyweight champion recently called him a young Miz. Speaking on his latest “Hall Of Fame” podcast, he said;
“He’s definitely had that Miz appeal,” Booker said. “He’s a guy that can go out there and talk very, very well, his wrestling ability is good enough to pass the smell test as far as I’m concerned. One thing he has more than anything is star appeal, that’s what I like with this kid, he has star appeal. You want to love to hate this dude.”
Grayson Waller Was Praised By Booker T And Compared To The Miz
“I said he’s mature enough to make it on the main roster, I thought he fit right in on the main roster,” Booker said. “I’m not surprised that they’re positioning him this way … Going out there and doing the stuff with Edge, he did a great job, his talking, the way he carries himself, he’s doing a great job. I see nothing wrong that Grayson Waller’s doing thus far.”
Waller had to miss out of action for a number of month after joining the main roster since he was not physically cleared to complete in the ring. But he finally made is in ring debut this month and that was against the Rated R Superstar Edge. It might have been a losing effort but his performance was widely praised.
It had been reported by various media sources that WWE has a big plan for the Australian professional wrestler and we can expect him to see becoming a top star of the promotion soon. He is an extremely talented wrestler whom the fans would definitely love to see winning big championships in the future.
