Glen Jacobs “Kane” is one of the biggest legends in professional wrestling history and he is indeed one of the most entertaining names the promotion has ever produced. In spite of mostly being a mid card, he has a huge fan base. He is still considered one of the most famous names in the world of professional wrestling.
But in spite of being one of the most famous wrestlers, he has mostly been treated as a mid card and in his two decade long WWE career, he could win only three World Championships in WWE. His fans still accuse Vince McMahon not giving the push he actually deserved as they believe he deserved much more than what he was given.
WWE Hall Of Famer’s Take On Kane: Did The Company Take Advantage Of His Good Nature?
It is also said that he rejected a lot of big pushes, even some World Championship reign opportunities. One of his rivals in WWE, the Olympic Gold Medallist Kurt Angle recently talked about the Big Red Machine and claimed the company took advantage of him because he was too nice of a person. Speaking on his Kurt Angle Show Podcast he said;
“No. You know what? I didn’t hang out with Glen that often. He was a really nice guy. Nobody could [say a bad thing about him]. He was like the perfect employee; you know, he never got in trouble. Yeah. He did everything he was told to do. He showed up. He worked his ass off.

“I think he was a little too nice because the company kind of took advantage of him. He did a lot more, had a lot more losses than wins, and was a dominant character. So, you know, but he was one of those guys that was in the main event that really made other wrestlers because when you’re going up through the ranks, you had to go through Kane.
“And when you beat Kane, that’s a big plus on, you know, on your shoulder. You can continue knowing that you’re a bigger star after you defeat Kane. So he was one of the obstacles you had to go through to get to the main event.” Concluded the former five times WWE World Champion.
The Big Red Machine might not have achieved many singles championship but he had been a twelve times Tag Team Champion in WWE. He is treated as a big legend of the promotion and in 2021, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He will always be remembered as one of the best wrestlers of the industry.
