Lita is one pioneer female wrestler in WWE who had showcased her ability inside the squared circle, back in her heyday. Names like her or Trish Stratus could have done much more if not the women superstars were only to be used in eye-candy roles. Thankfully, WWE has bigger arrangements for the female superstars and they also haven’t forgotten superstars from the past.
After almost a gap of 16 years, Lita will finally be appearing in a singles bout as she will challenge Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Elimination Chamber event. While fans are elated to see the legendary name back in the ring, the excitement may not last long given WWE doesn’t have any plans around her once the event passes by.
Rok-C: WWE Reportedly Offers Contract To Former ROH Women’s Champion
The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated where she indicated that WWE does not really have future creative plans for her. This obviously signifies the fact that the company would proceed with Becky Lynch as the Raw Women’s Champion. But Lita also mentioned that things could change in the WWE, just like that,
“Currently, I was just asked to do this match. I know everything can change in WWE at the drop of a hat. There is a lot of opportunity here, and just because there are no current plans doesn’t mean there won’t be. This is also allowing me to focus on the task at hand, which is to put on a killer match and not focus on anything else except Elimination Chamber.”

Lita previously revealed that it was a last-minute decision from WWE to make her wrestle at Elimination Chamber. Before that, she believed that the appearance at the 30-woman Royal Rumble match was just a one-off thing that she was supposed to do. So, she emphasized that “just because there are no current plans doesn’t mean there won’t be.”
The feud between Lita and Becky Lynch has been escalated over the past couple of weeks and fans are likely to witness a memorable match at Elimination Chamber. When it’s all said and done, the current champion is likely to stand tall and march her way to Wrestlemania if WWE moves ahead with their current plan.
