WWE India: Triple H Responds To Subcontinent Fan’s Urge On Twitter

WWE India provides the biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world and the largest fanbase which has openly been admitted by the company in the past. This is the reason that a need’s been felt to build a separate NXT division for the subcontinent, as well as to cater to the audience.

To date, no such announcement regarding the WWE India or WWE NXT India brand has been made but the regular viewers of the country of WWE programming are really hopeful about some big news in the near future. They can soon also expect to start receiving official merchandise from WWE Shop.

A wrestling fan from the WWE India universe has recently started the hashtag #SearchForMerch, tagging Triple H who noticed the same and responded on Twitter. Rohit Pant of Wrestle Chatter asked The Gam and the co-WWE CEO, Stephanie McMahon, on social media so that the company provides them with authentic merchandise to India.

The YouTuber also noted that Triple H has said in past interviews that the company wants to expand with a possible WWE India branch. But, the fans are not able to purchase official merchandise from the company. The fourteen-time world champion Triple H has offered a short comment in response stating that WWE is listening. The WWE head-honcho has also used the viral hashtag in his response, helping it to trend amongst even a bigger audience.

Triple H has recently replaced John Laurinaitis as EVP of Talent Relations and he also took over creative responsibility for the promotion as the Chief Content Officer while his wife, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan replaced Vince McMahon as co-CEOs after the latter resigned from his duties on July 22nd.

Since then, Triple H has had his sights set on expanding the WWE product as he suggested an “almost World Cup scenario” for WWE’s developmental brands. With that goal in mind, WWE NXT Europe will be launched in 2023 and it’s possible that WWE India will be included in the scenario, down the road. Since WWE has the biggest fanbase in India, the company is also looking forward to holding a Premium Live Event here alongside Australia.
