Huge news broke earlier today when WWE CEO Nick Khan attended the Moffettnathanson conference and announced that the promotion is returning for a brand new Live Show in India. The event is scheduled for the month of September of this year.
The promotion has a huge fan base in India, The show mostly became popular after Ten Sports started broadcasting it regularly in 2002. On the same year, The promotion came to India for the second time and the show was a big success. It was popularly remembered as RAW Tour Of India.

The promotion was getting so popular in India during the time that the The Big Red Machine Kane and Rob Van Dam even did a commercial for Britannia Treat biscuits which became quite popular during the time. These two Hall of Famers also became the first WWE stars to feature in any Indian commercials.
It is not much remembered by the fans that the promotion did their first live event in India back in 1996. The show did not become much popular as the promotion did not have enough popularity in India back in those days. Slowly, it became more and more popular and right now, it is one of the biggest attractions for Indian fans.

Their last Indian event took place in 2017 but they did they did an India based show two years ago which is almost treated like a big event and it even features on their Network chronology. Some of the biggest wrestlers of the promotion worked in this event. It was a huge success and there were plans for more events of the promotion in future.
The India based show that took place in 2021 is called Superstar Spectacle. There are already rumours that the upcoming Live Event would be named after the previous event. Former World Champions like Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, Finn Balor worked in this event. Hopefully, the upcoming event would be even bigger than the previous shows.
