WWE Hall of Famer Kane is one of the all-time greats to have ever stepped their foot inside the squared circle. Starting from the late 90s, he’s been a true follower of Vince McMahon who entertained the WWE Universe in as many ways as possible. However, things changed in due course and it’s strange to believe that the once-monster personas actually run a county.
WWE Legend Kane, real name, Glenn Jacobs, will continue to be the mayor of Knoxville County, Tennessee for another four years. As you can see, his original run started four years ago and the people seem to be happy to have him around the county.

Jacobs, a Republican, defeated Democratic nominee Debbie Helsley in the mayoral race, last night. According to The Knoxville News Sentinel, Jacobs was leading the unofficial vote tally by more than 4,400 votes when 63 percent of the nearly 43,000 votes were counted at 10 PM, local time. That margin was reportedly enough to have Jacobs announced to be the winner and the Mayor for one more tenure.

Kane has been Knoxville Mayor for the past several years
The professional wrestling legend already celebrated his victory with his colleagues at a watch party in downtown Knoxville, per his social media feeds. The new election result also makes us believe that the on-screen Kane character will no more be appearing on WWE TV, on a regular basis due to his duties as the first citizen.
“It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve as mayor for the past four years, and I am just so grateful that you have trusted me to work hard to keep our economy strong and to protect our freedoms and our way of life,” Jacobs aka Kane state after his win. For sporadic occasions, Kane has been spotted on WWE TV especially when WWE visits the state of Tennessee. He was last seen on WWE TV at the 2022 SummerSlam premium live event. He appeared in a brief segment to announce the attendance of 48,449 for the show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Apart from this appearance, Kane also faces a lot of backlash for his reaction to the decision made by the United States Supreme Court around the Roe v. Wade case. It declared abortion a constitutional right after which a number of wrestlers alongside other personalities from different industries opined on the matter to make it a highly discussed one.
