Former WWE Superstar and one of the all-time greatest superstars in the professional wrestling industry, The Rock and his family have recently tested positive for COVID-19. The big news came out through an update provided by the star himself on his social media handle.
The People’s Champion posted an 11-minute video to Instagram to disclose that he and his immediate family are currently recovering from the coronavirus. The Rock, 48, and his wife Lauren Hashian, 35, have two daughters together – Tiana, who was born in April 2018, and Jasmine, who was born in December 2016.

The number one box office star in the movie industry also has a 19-year-old daughter from his first marriage, Simone, who is currently signed to a WWE developmental deal. There’s no news of her getting caught by the virus.

As seen in the video message, The Rock talked about how COVID-19 being one of the most challenging and difficult things that his family had to endure and for him, personally. He also updated that they are all doing better, nowadays by staying healthy and “on the other end” of the virus. He also informed us that they are no longer contagious.
The former WWE Champion also revealed that he and his family were exposed to coronavirus through very close family friends, who they “love and trust.” He added that those friends are currently devastated with the news and they don’t have any idea where they got it from.
It was also noted in the video that The Rock and his family have been in quarantine for months. But it’s unknown whether he has been working while recovering from the virus. He encouraged people to wear masks and follow the rules with the below message,
