The Rock is the biggest box office attraction in Hollywood who has the ability to draw interest from the audience like no one else. The import from WWE does move along with a high price tag attached to him, and it has now earned him a spot on the top of Forbes‘ list of highest-paid actors.
Dwayne Johnson has topped the highest-paid actors’ list, but this is definitely not the first time that he achieved that accolade. As a matter of fact, it is the second year in a row that the People’s Champion has snatched the top spot.

The Rock was able to earn more money than other huge names like Daniel Craig, Adam Sandler, Ryan Reynolds, and others. His upcoming Netflix film “Red Notice” earned him $23.5 million that must have helped him to retain the top spot.
Overall, The Rock pulled in $87.5 million dollars. Ryan Reynolds is in the second spot with $71.5 million whereas Mark Wahlberg landed the third-place entry with $58 million.

It’s good to know that The People’s Champion does have something to brag about in a year that has been very frustrating and trying for everyone especially those in the entertainment business. The Rock had his upcoming Disney Jungle Cruise movie pushed back yet again amid the coronavirus pandemic, but hopefully, he’d fix a future date, very soon.
Being a busy person in the Hollywood doesn’t allow The Rock to make a comeback to the professional wrestling ring despite WWE wanting this to happen, forever. Last time, he competed in a full-length match was at WrestleMania 29, seven years ago. WWE is still hoping to book him in a match at WrestleMania 37 that takes place in Hollywood, California but there’s no confirmation.
It should be noted that The Rock, along with business partners Dany Garcia and RedBird Capital, recently acquired the XFL from WWE for $15 million. XFL creditors did file a motion to stop the purchase.
Later, the acquisition process was approved in a Delaware bankruptcy court, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN. The Great One and his partners will officially take control of the XFL form McMahon, later this month. They have an LLC to run the league, called Alpha Acquico.
