It could be a great news for the Indian WWE fans that another Indian star could join WWE.
Currently, there are three Indian stars are wrestling in the WWE; one of them is Jinder Mahal who works at Monday Night Raw. The other two are Gurv Sihra and Harv Sihra, together they are known as the Bollywood Boyz. They wrestle in the NXT. Mustafa Ali, who is a Pakistani wrestler is also a member of WWE. He performs at the 205 Live.
Indian fans would be really delighted to see the former TNA star joining WWE.
But apparently, it is not happening.
According to PWinside; WWE made contact with the former star to work at the WWE Performance centre but he turned down the offer. It is said that he decided to turn down the offer because he would have to relocate to Orlando.
Instead, he decided to work with TNA Impact wrestling on a full-time basis as a producer. He chose TNA over WWE because he had been very close to Jarrett for years.
Sonjay Dutt had an excellent career at the Independent promotion too. He had a bag full of achievements in the indies including two CZW Junior Heavyweight championship reigns. CZW is considered as one of the most hardcore wrestling promotions in the world right now.
Sonjay Dutt joining WWE’s performance centre could be a good thing for WWE keeping his experience in mind. But it would not be a big upset for the promotion either. We hope Dutt does a good job in the TNA wrestling.
