WWE Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view match card was updated during this week’s SmackDown on FOX episode. As announced prior to the show, the two final spots from the blue brand were up for grabs in two scheduled matches. Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro and Baron Corbin vs. King Shinsuke Nakamura were the two bouts on the card.
Following these two matches, the lineup for the Men’s Money In The Bank 2021 Ladder Match was finalized as Seth Rollins defeated Cesaro to qualify, while King Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Baron Corbin to qualify. Rollins and Nakamura join Big E, Kevin Owens, Ricochet, Riddle, John Morrison, and Drew McIntyre as the participants in the men’s MITB match.

Cesaro was busted open in his head in the qualifying match on SmackDown against Seth Rollins. As the Swiss Superman hit the turnbuckles hard, Rollins planted him with a DDT on the floor before nailing the Stomp on him to get the win. As for Corbin, Nakamura pinned him with the Kinshasa finisher on SmackDown to head into the Men’s Money In The Bank 2021 Ladder Match.

Carmella was announced for the Women’s Money In The Bank 2021 Ladder Match but then due to Bayley’s injury, she was announced to be a replacement opponent for a championship match against Bianca Belair, next week. Since Carmella was removed from Ladder Match, Liv Morgan was announced to be her replacement.
For three back-to-back weeks, Liv Morgan made her point to be a part of the Women’s Money In The Bank 2021 Ladder Match as Sonya Deville finally added her to the fray. Zelina Vega, Asuka, Naomi, Nikki Cross, and Alexa Bliss are the already confirmed entrants for the match. There are still two blue brand spots to be announced during next Friday’s go-home PPV edition.
