This week’s WWE SmackDown on FOX inserted a couple of names to Money In The Bank 2021 ladder match for both men’s and women’s divisions. Sonya Deville brought Zelina Vega back in the WWE as the next participant from the blue brand. Just like Carmella, last week the Vega didn’t have to qualify for the opportunistic ladder match.
Zelina Vega played the role of a heel by cutting a promo on the mic about how she will win the MITB briefcase and then cash in to become either the WWE NXT, RAW, or SmackDown Women’s Champion. Liv Morgan interrupted as she was upset for not getting a spot at Money In The Bank 2021 Ladder Match.
She ended up having words with Zelina Vega and then slapping her. Morgan was then granted a match by Sonya Deville against Vega to prove her potential, once again. The match was short where Morgan used a handful of tights to roll up her opponent for the pin to win. While Vega is official for the upcoming ladder match, Morgan is yet to qualify despite two consecutive wins.
The IIconics Reveal Why They Can’t Perform After WWE Departure
In other news for WWE Money In The Bank 2021, Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn in a brutal Last Man Standing match on SmackDown. Thus, he joined Big E as the other confirmed blue brand entrant in the Men’s MITB Ladder Match. The four RAW Superstars for the match are Ricochet, Riddle, John Morrison, and Drew McIntyre.
The feud between Bayley and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is likely to be wrapped up at WWE Money in the Bank 2021. In a Face-Off segment between the two rivals, Belair challenged Belair to an “I Quit” match at the pay-per-view, and Bayley accepted as The title will be on the line at the upcoming PPV.
Belair retained over Bayley at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view on May 16 and again at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on June 20, inside the Cell structure. The feud between these two is going on since after WrestleMania 37.
