Madcap Moss became the final participant of the Money in the Bank 2022 ladder match from the men’s division. During the July 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, Moss defeated Happy Corbin, The Miz, and Ezekiel in the last chance Fatal-4-Way match to qualify for the 2022 MITB ladder match.
The finishing moments of the match witnessed Corbin sending Miz out of the ring after which he ended up hitting the End of Days on Ezekiel. But Moss came from behind and broke up the pin attempt before throwing Corbin out of the ring. Moss then covered Zeke to get the pinfall victory. After the win, Moss was officially announced for Money In The Bank 2022 ladder match.

Thus, Moss will be making his Money In The Bank match debut. As a sixth and final participant of the fray, he now joins Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Omos, Sami Zayn, and Riddle in the upcoming annual premium live event. All these superstars will compete for the briefcase hanging high above the ring inside which resides a guaranteed world title match opportunity.
The Money In The Bank 2022 edition marks the thirteenth event under the same chronology. The men’s version of the ladder match made its debut in 2005 at WrestleMania 21. WWE Hall of Famer Edge would be the winner of that inaugural edition. The annual ladder match for WrestleMania was then converted into a pay-per-view event in 2010.
Winners of the match include WWE Hall of Famers, Edge (twice), Rob Van Dam, CM Punk (twice), Jack Swagger, Kane, The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, John Cena, Damien Sandow, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar, Otis, and Big E.
The Women’s Money In The Bank 2022 ladder match will be the seventh ladder match in its history. It debuted in 2017 and had two matches that year. Carmella (twice), Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Asuka, and Nikki A.S.H are the respective match winners.

Money In The Bank 2022 premium live event takes place on Saturday, July 2 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
