This year’s Money in the Bank pay per view event came up with a total of 6 matches. Two of them were Money in the Bank ladder matches and the other four were title matches. Once again there is no World Championship match. This is the third pay per view in a row without a World championship. Let us see if this one can survive and be a good event.
Match 1 – Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match – Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Lacey Evans, Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi

WWE Money In The Bank 2022 Results & Ratings
Just like every other Money in the Bank ladder Matches, it was an extremely entertaining match. The whole match was booked for around 17 minutes and throughout the match it was totally engaging. Kudos to all the women that were involved in this match.
It had been predicted by most of the fans and the critics that it was Liv Morgan’s night. Raquel Rodriguez dominated the early part of the match, then it became anyone’s game. The Final Fight was between Becky Lynch and Liv and Liv was able to capture the Briefcase. Congratulations to Liv Morgan for her first major win.
Match 2 – WWE United States Championship – Bobby Lashley defeated Theory to become new champion

This match was booked for 11 minutes and it was also a good match. There was nothing hugely special about it, but this one can be counted as a good match. Lashley dominated most part of the match, but Theory was not married at all. Surely he has a long way to go.
Lashley made Theory submit with the Hurt Lock and it was a clean win. Lashley was bleeding from his mouth at the end of the match. After this defeat, it is highly doubtful if Theory good face John Cena at SummerSlam. We hope to see this feud between Lashley and Theory go on for a little longer.
Match 3 – WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair defeated Carmella to retain

This might have been the most predictable match of the whole evening. It seemed the more like they booked this match because they had to book something. The match was booked for only 7 minutes and it was a weak match. Not from any angle it was a pay per view standard match.
The only good thing about this match was, it never seemed like Carmella throughout the match. Bianca Belair pinned Carmella with the KOD finisher. After the match, Carmella attacked Bianca clearing the fact that the feud will continue for a while longer.
Match 4 – WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship – The Usos defeated The Street Profits to retain

Perhaps the most predictable match apart from the two Women’s Championship matches. That was the biggest issue of this event, everything was so predictable. So why would anyone spend their hard earned money for such a event?
About the match it is undoubtedly one of the best matches of the night. It was booked for 23 minutes and throughout the match it never seem boring. It can hook anyone to itself throughout the match. Jimmy Uso pinned Montez Ford with the 1D Finisher.
Match 5 – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship – Ronda Rousey defeated Natalya to retain
This match was booked for around 13 minutes and it was a good match. It looked like a competitive match and it was quite fun. It was not a very easy win for Ronda as Natalya hurt Ronda’s right leg badly. At the end, Ronda made Natalya submit with the Cross Arm Bar. It was a good match, the only issue wasit was totally predictable.
Match 6 – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship – Liv Morgan defeated Ronda Rousey to become new champion

The unpredictability arrived on the very next moment after Ronda rousey won the match. Liv Morgan cashed in the Money in the Bank contract that she won just an hour ago. Liv defeated Ronda with a roll up. After she won, Ronda also appreciated her. It was such an emotional moment. Even Samantha Irvin sounded really emotional while announcing Liv the winner.
Match 7 – Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match – Theory defeated Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Madcap Moss and Omos
Yes, you saw it right. Theory won the Money in the Bank ladder match who was not even in the match. But before the start of the match, Adam Pearce appeared and added Theory into this match. As long as Theory got added into this match, it became totally predictable like the rest of the matches.

It was a good match, entertaining just like every other Money in the Bank ladder matches. But Theory getting such an early big push for almost no reason was a big set back. McMahon might be seeing the next John Cena in him. But somebody must remind him that it is too early to judge him to that level of calibre.
Anybody else who were involved in this match would have been a better winner. And where would Theory go from here? Is there anyone who really things he would beat Roman Reigns? This is the reason why WWE was facing poor ticket sales. Theory celebrated as this year’s Money in the Bank went off air.
Overall it was not a bad show, but unfortunately it was thoroughly predictable. Apart from the addition of Theory to the main event, and Liv Morgan’s cash in on Ronda Rousey, everything was really predictable. The Tag Team Championship match was really good, it was well paced and fun. At the end, Money in the Bank 2022 turned out to be a let down. We give it 1.5 stars out of 5.
