The couple, AJ Lee and CM Punk had quite a bitter relationship with the WWE ever since they left the company.

Punk had quite a rift with WWE in 2014 after which he decided to leave. His wife, AJ Lee was still under the contract for one more year and hence performed until Wrestlemania 31 but did not renew the deal, afterwards.

These two are those rare names which decided to quit the pro-wrestling league at their highest point of career. The fans do miss them, really.

Recently, AJ Lee has come into the limelight due to her autobiography being unveiled. The book is named “Crazy is my Superpower”.

The former longest reigning Divas champion has visited a number of outlets and did some media interaction to promote it. In one of those instances, she appeared on the Sam Roberts and Jim Norton podcast. Eventually, it was on the same day when her successor in the WWE, Nikki Bella also appeared on the show to promote the Total Bellas show.

AJ was asked by the hosts whether she or her husband misses performing in front of thousands of fans. In reply, she said that she always misses professional wrestling but her husband does not feel the same way. Punk does have some bitterness with the experience that he faced in the WWE. Here are AJ’s comments:

“Him and I have different views on that for sure. My heart is always gonna have this giant place for wrestling, so I’ll always miss that moment right in the ring where you feel the energy from the crowd, and there’s nothing that can replace that. But I think that you should appreciate the different kinds of happy there are.
