We now have an added match at Extreme Rules as announced on last night’s Smackdown. It is a fresh matchup where a former NXT Champion is finally coming back to action against a former champion. It will be Aleister Black going up against Cesaro which was a predicted lineup as per the speculations.

For the past several weeks, we have been seeing Aleister Black sit inside a dark room begging for opponents. Almost two months passed by but no one dared to knock his door until it was the June 25th episode of Smackdown. Someone finally showed up to pick a fight with him.

Who Stood Tall On Smackdown Tag Team Summit?
Last night, Cesaro appeared on Smackdown to reveal himself to be the mystery name. He admitted to wanting a match against Aleister Black and knocking at the door two weeks ago. They signed a contract to confirm the match at Extreme Rules on this Sunday which will mark the PPV debut of the Dutch Destroyer.
Aleister Black is one of the most furious strikers in the modern generation superstars of the WWE. The former NXT Champion has found his way to the main roster back in February alongside Ricochet forming a tag team. The association came to an end following Superstar Shakeup. Ricochet moved forward becoming the new US Champion whereas his partner did not even get a single storyline.
For the last several weeks, Aleister Black was demanding for an opponent on Smackdown. WWE creative seemed to have his attention, finally and announced that he will meet her new opponent at Extreme Rules. As for his identity, Smackdown Live was about to confirm this, (via WWE.com)

The anticipation was that someone like Cesaro or Randy Orton will challenge him in a match at Extreme Rules. That apparently came to on last night’s Smackdown when Cesaro challenged the former NXT Champion.
