WWE News: Alexa Bliss Reveals The Reason Behind Her Super Stardom 1

Alexa Bliss is one of the biggest names from the women’s roster in the WWE who has won multiple championships to cement her own legacy. We have not seen her much within in-ring competition ever since last year’s Hell in a Cell PPV courtesy of her injury. But that did not affect her superstardom be it in the WWE shows or on the social media. She still remains one of the best reasons to save WWE Raw’s TRPs.

Update on Alexa Bliss career-threatening injury

Is Lana thinking of leaving WWE?

Cut to three years back from now, the scenario was not a pleasant one for The Goddess of the WWE. She was residing in the developmental territory of the company also known as NXT and has not done anything special. Yet WWE called her up on the main roster during the Superstar Shakeup. We had the slightest expectation from her whereas, in contrast, she delivered the biggest to become a complete superstar.

Little Miss Bliss has literally taken over women’s roster ever since entering the picture in 2016. She won the Smackdown women’s championship for twice and the Raw women’s championship for three occasions to run both the divisions during her heyday. In fact, she made a record to walk into consecutive Wrestlemania shows with different championships and also having the longest reign with the red-brand title. (Ronda Rousey broke that record in 2019)

Former WWE RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about her superstardom in the WWE. While mentioning the reason, she pointed out the time spent in NXT. She may have not done anything special during that time span in comparison to her contemporaries, but that made the groundworks for her future success.

Alexa Bliss also mentioned that she had barely thought of doing bigger things in WWE. There were names who came from indie wrestling background whereas others who already are second generation pro-wrestlers whereas she was completely new to this industry. But pure hard work and spending time with the mic helped her character to get evolved. Here’s what Miss Bliss had to offer during a conversation with SI,

“When I first got onto SmackDown, I remember being so nervous…In WWE, if you’re given an opportunity but you don’t deliver, that opportunity may never come back. I remember my very first promo on SmackDown, and I remember knowing I had to deliver.”

“The microphone has been my saving grace throughout my career, giving me opportunities like hosting WrestleMania. This is coming from the same person who cried in her first promo class at NXT. Dusty Rhodes and Ryan Katz helped enable me to do this, and I’m very grateful for my time with NXT.”

Fans of Alexa Bliss complain a lot about WWE removing her from in-ring competition and making her a talk-show host. She is a five-time champion and the former face of the women’s division and deserves much better. Hopefully, she could be back to the top position, real quick as 2019 moves forward.
