Heel antics from Dolph Ziggler continued on Smackdown that gives utmost momentums prior to Super ShowDown. Once again, his cheapshot managed to fool Kofi Kingston as they wait to compete in a title match. Last night’s episode kicked off with the WWE Champion himself who talked about his emotional return to his home country of Ghana. Expectedly, Dolph Ziggler came out to steal the thunder and showed his own career vignette on the tron. He also promised to take the title away from Kofi before the opening match was underway.

The WWE Championship scenario changed completely with the arrival of Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown Live. He returned after Money in the Bank targeting Kofi Kingston and his prized possession i.e. the WWE title. A brutal attack followed after which WWE confirmed a title match for Super ShowDown PPV on this Friday night. Ziggler continued to gain momentums in the last couple of weeks as WWE.com hinted Kofi may backfire,

“When we last saw The Showoff, he was brutally attacking Kofi’s New Day running buddy, Xavier Woods, with a steel chair until the WWE Champion made the save. Last Tuesday, Kingston defeated Kevin Owens in one-on-one action, putting KO behind him and seemingly ensuring that he can give his full attention to Ziggler and Super ShowDown. Will these two rivals come to blows as they prepare for a huge WWE Championship battle on Friday? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE at 8/7 C on USA Network!”

That’s what we can expect from a competitor like Kofi Kingston who is out there to establish his legacy as the WWE Champion. Fighting back against the odds is the best quality that the high-flyer possesses. But he was yet to hit back the contender since the beatdown from two weeks ago. Hence, we expected that Kofi will do something to deliver a major statement to Dolph Ziggler. But the show-off continued tricking down the champ coming with cheap attacks.
