It’s safe to mention Alexa Bliss to be the best heel on the women’s roster for the last couple of years. She is perhaps the only one from the main roster who did not change the role, at all. Starting from NXT to Monday Night Raw or Smackdown Live, she just owned a bad girl’s gimmick, be it mic work or conniving antics, there’s no one who does it better than The Goddess.

Update from Carmella-Corey Graves scandal

Alexa Bliss talked about her super-stardom

It’s hard to think her as a babyface superstar but of course, for a change, that’d be great. The fans could discover the flip side of the coin for her character. As a superstar, she will also get a new opportunity to explore a new gimmick that may become a hit. She has all the tools to make it work.

So Alexa Bliss herself responded in a positive way while getting asked on this topic. She recently spoke with People magazine while at the Billboard Music Awards and stated that it’d be great to transition to a new character for a change,

“I think it would be great. I would love the challenge of it. I’ve been playing a bad guy for six years and I’d love to try a different dynamic,” she said. “But right now I’m just having so much fun. It’s fun being a bad guy.”

It is a fact that superstars who play the role of a heel for a long time, do not want to change character, very often. Playing the role of a villain gives that certain superstar the liberty of multi-dimension stuff that babyfaces can’t do. However, Alexa Bliss has proved to be a versatile character with a huge fan following and she can surely pull off a successful role in a new direction.

Attending the Billboard Music Show brought some mainstream attention to the WWE to which Bella Twins are pro at. So the interview threw questions of the Twins to Alexa Bliss who had nothing but praise for the former champions,

“They are the busiest, yet most successful women I know and they are those women who, when you meet them, you want the most success for them because they are so sweet, so genuine,” Bliss said. “They’ve gone on to Total Bellas. They have their wine. Now that they have skin care, they have pet shampoo. I think it’s fantastic what they’re doing.”

Additionally, the five-time women’s champion was humble enough to admit that the Bella Twins paved the way for women superstars like her,

“Absolutely, they’ve become entrepreneurs and that’s what we want for the women in our industry,” Bliss said. “We want to be successful in and out of the ring and they’ve really paved the way for us.” (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
