We should note that Superstar Shakeup has just passed by and WWE is yet to kick-off any storylines, officially. Only the Raw women’s championship angle has begun with Lacey Evans targeting Becky Lynch over the past couple of weeks. The other angles are likely to kick-off from the next editions of Raw and Smackdown set for April 22nd and 23rd.
WWE.com additionally hinted that a new rivalry will begin over the Universal Championship on this week’s Raw. Seth Rollins is the current holder of the red-strapped belt that needs a new contender. Going by this week’s preview on WWE’s official website, a new superstar will reserve the first challenger’s spot,
“After the Superstar Shake-up, it’s anyone’s guess who will be next to challenge Seth Rollins for his Universal Championship. And with Dean Ambrose’s departure from WWE and Roman Reigns’ move to SmackDown LIVE, The Beastslayer now stands alone against a transformed field of competition.”
