Smackdown Live might be able to establish itself as the A-show of the company in the fall of 2019. As we have reported previously, the Tuesday Night Show will now move to the FOX Sports network moving from the USA Network. WWE has gone through a huge deal in 2018 to bring Smackdown on one of the four major television networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox).

It has reportedly been a $1 billion deal, per year that is historic and biggest ever that the company has ever received. With that being said, the program hosts will definitely want Smackdown to reach the same level where Monday Night Raw belongs. This would also bring a tough and healthy competition for the flagship brand of the company.

To do so, WWE will need to bring bigger names on Smackdown Live. Apparently, the process has already started when Roman Reigns arrived on the Tuesday Night Show during Superstar Shakeup. It was a huge move since he is the franchise player of the company and was the show-runner for the flagship brand. Now he will be the face to run the show going forward.

Additionally, more veteran names may be arriving on Smackdown when it moves to Fox Sports in October. Advertisements for the first episode are already available and these are hinting the biggest attractions are likely to be present. WrestlingINC.com reported on the same mentioning the names who would be new arrivals on the show.

Apparently, Fox Sports channel has begun to air commercials for the new show. It is now showing John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, and the first-ever Raw and Smackdown women’s champion Becky Lynch. Airing on a bigger network need these names onboard since it will reach a broader audience than when it has aired on SyFy and USA Network.

A second commercial is also available for Smackdown’s promotion on FOX Sports. It is showing Cena, Flair, Mysterio and SmackDown’s biggest acquisition ever, Roman Reigns. No wonder the last name mentioned will play the major role to carry through the brand whereas Lynch and Flair will be the two biggest names as Ronda Rousey has gone to a hiatus. Additionally, WON reported that The Undertaker could also appear in the first episode of Smackdown to air on Fox Sports.
