Upcoming Saudi Arabia show hosted by WWE created a wave among the pro-wrestling fans, for sure. Not necessarily everybody is giving positive reactions towards WWE heading back to the middle-east country, again. But then there are multiple returns happening for the show altogether from which they can’t take their eyes off.
Big money offerings have been able to bring back The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and even Goldberg back to the scenario. The latter mentioned name was almost unthinkable which literally came out of blue during WWE’s official announcement. This leads us to believe the Saudi Arabia deal can make old school legends coming back and Mick Foley seems one of them.
The Hardcore legend recently opened up on the returns that the Saudi Arabia show will witness on June 7th in Riyadh. He noted what his reaction could be of WWE ever considers him to make a return to in-ring capacity. Surprisingly, Mick Foley gave a positive nod to it saying that he will think about it if the deal appears to be right in terms of money.
During a recent interview with Sport-Talk’s Pro Wrestling Show, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley talked about WWE going back to Saudi Arabia. He seemed excited about coming back to the squared circle for a match if he gets the right price for this. Even he chose the match to reproduce which turned out to be the Hell in a Cell rematch against The Undertaker.
You can check out the exact comments from Mick Foley as given below,
“I’m lucky enough to where I don’t have to make that choice. I have to be honest, I can be had for a certain price. If they wanted a rematch of the Cell badly enough and were willing to pay for it, then my God they’d probably get it. Working slower than I did 21 years ago, but I’d be out there.”
The way WWE is bringing back old school veterans for Saudi Arabia ventures, it will not surprise us if Mick Foley decides to come back, someday. Fans would love to see the reincarnation of perhaps the greatest Hell in a Cell match of all-time. The hype will be enough to sell out a PPV. So it might just be a matter of time that WWE sent the offer letter to the Hall of Famer.
