The announcement of Saudi Arabia show by WWE left the fans drooling over it. When it comes to the pay-per-views in this country, WWE brings back veteran names no matter what to make it a successful affair. After all, the company makes millions of dollars from it which is even a bigger amount than Wrestlemania 35.

Why Brock Lesnar retired from UFC?
So it was no surprise that the company announced three huge names for the next PPV show in Saudi Arabia on June 7th. The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and Goldberg are these three names who will be featuring in marquee matches on that night. With that being said, the rumor mill is running rampant of what the lineups could be around these names.
They could compete against one another or WWE may be arranging different lineups for the near future. The rumor mill has suggested a couple of potential matches for Goldberg which could be valiant options considering a return. However, nothing is finalized as of now since WWE officials still have not made anything concrete.
The first rumor suggests that Goldberg will be coming after his first WWE Championship opportunity. Despite being a legendary champion, he never held the most prestigious title present in sports entertainment. So none other than Kofi Kingston could be his very next opponent whom he’ll defeat to win the title for the very first time.
The second rumor suggests that it will be Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar at Saudi Arabia show reproducing the match from Survivor Series 2016 or should we say Wrestlemania 33. This would be the overall fourth meeting for these two superstars as they have also squared off at Wrestlemania 20 way back in 2004.
Meanwhile, the interesting part is that reliable source wiped out both these matches. WrestlingNews.co suggested that none of these two matches may happen. WWE has not thought anything regarding the next opponent of Goldberg. We have to wait a bit more to receive a confirmation on his next opponent.
However, it’s certain that Goldberg is coming back to action at the Saudi Arabia show, no matter what. He posted a cryptic photo on the Instagram handle, hinting that he’s indeed coming back to professional wrestling. Otherwise, the legend would not have used the ‘who’s next’ catchphrase. We expect him to come back on WWE TV once Money in the Bank passes by.
