Meanwhile, she also had a sitdown with the TalkSport media to let us know about some exclusive details on her career. First of all, she thought of being in a manager role for a superstar for a long time.

Paige mentioned that she wanted to do become a manager for Ronda Rousey or Asuka after her retirement. We do know that she had to surrender her career at an age of just 21 due to the neck injury. But she never wanted to stay away from the TV,
“After retiring, I pitched to manage Ronda Rousey and Asuka. I’ve always pitched for Asuka because I think she is such an amazing athlete and a wonderful person, the only thing she really lacks is the microphone skills.”

Now WWE did offer her a manager role but it was for the Smackdown show-runner’s position. Additionally, Paige revealed that WWE also wanted her to be a backstage producer. That’s perhaps the most comfortable yet responsible position in the company that could ask for. However, Paige did not want to accept the role as it’s not right for a 25-year-old girl to play a backstage role. But she wanted to more of an on-screen role which is a justified reason. “Obviously I then had the GM role that I loved, but after that, they offered me a role as a producer and I actually said yes. But after a few weeks, I had to tell them I didn’t actually want to do that. It’s an amazing job, don’t get me wrong, but at 26/27, I still want to be in front of the camera and I don’t want to hang my boots up in that regard just yet.”
It’s good that Paige is back on WWE programming on Smackdown by managing the tag team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. These two also won a title chance that WWE may hand them to at Extreme Rules. Till then, the two-time Divas Champion will continue boosting championships spirits into her protégés.
