Huge Brawl Broke Out On Smackdown Featuring Roman Reigns
Kofi Kingston appeared to the ring to answer back to his Money in the Bank opponent and call him down to the ring. Kevin Owens showed up but hesitated to enter the ring. Soon we saw Sami Zayn coming out from Raw to help out his best friend. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens beat up on Kofi Kingston until Xavier Woods showed up. Sami threw Woods to the ring steps as Owens set him up for a Cannonball. Kofi Kingston moved out of the way to land a Trouble in Paradise on Sami. Owens had to retreat leaving the fight for Money in the Bank. The WWE Champion closed the show standing tall.
The final buildup for the WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank was evident on Smackdown. With five nights remaining for the pay-per-view show, the bad blood between Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens reached the highest limit. This is why WWE.com announced a talk-show between the two of them that has to go physical,
“WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens will collide for the WWE Title at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, but first, they may … talk it out? Owens has invited Kingston to join him on The Kevin Owens Show this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE, only five nights before their massive title match. KO and Kofi have gone through the ringer in recent weeks — will The Dreadlocked Dynamo accept Owens’ invitation? If he does what will the mood be if the two come eye-to-eye on the final stop before WWE Money in the Bank?”
Kevin Owens has constantly been targeting Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on Smackdown with sneak attacks. After the shocking betrayal following Wrestlemania, the Prizefighter is focused on getting the WWE Championship. So he could have gone to any extent to gain an upper-hand over the champion. As a result, we have seen him calling Sami Zayn on the show. But Kofi Kingston showed valiant efforts to take out both of them.
