It’s safe to say that Becky Lynch is the most popular superstar in the entire WWE today. It is a rare occasion in sports entertainment when a female superstar has overshadowed the male-dominated industry. No wonder why WWE officials hosted the women’s Wrestlemania main event match at Wrestlemania 35 and handed the win to the most suitable person on the night.

Two main event matches revealed on Raw and Smackdown

Becky to receive two separate opponents

In a record-breaking night that Wrestlemania was, seven championships changed hands. The main event also witnessed title altercation when Becky Lynch pinned Ronda Rousey to win the match. She created history by becoming the first-ever WWE RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champion, at the same time. Since then fans are calling her with an additional nickname of Becky Two Belts who is having the best moments of her career.

The other women’s division match at Wrestlemania 35 featured the women’s tag team champions Sasha Banks and Bayley defending in a fatal-4-way. It was another Interbrand affair where The Boss n Hug Connection lost the titles to The IIconics from Smackdown. With both the brands involving in the women’s division titles, fans are concerned about their future.

These women’s division titles are now appearing on both Raw and Smackdown courtesy of Becky Lynch. She is showing up on both the weekly televised shows keeping us in doubts whether WWE is planning separate title defenses for them. Or else, thee may be chances to see these belts getting unified like old times.

Recently, came up with a significant report suggesting that WWE plans on Becky Lynch and The IIconics defend their titles on both brands. They will also have different challengers on Raw and Smackdown rosters. Additionally, the IIConics will also have to defend their tag team championships on the NXT brand, too. So at present, there’s no plan of unification of Raw and Smackdown women’s titles.

Previously, Becky Lynch herself talked about not unifying the two titles. She is extremely proud of wearing those around her shoulder who intends to defend against two separate challenges. Her wish may be coming true. Here’s more of her reactions on Wrestlemania 35 main event win beating Ronda Rousey,

“I’m happy I beat her with a wrestling move after she talked about how.she insulted my business. She insulted my business and I beat her with a wrestling move. That’s all we need to know. The ref counted to three and I became Becky Two Belts.”
