Dean Ambrose broke the internet by posting a video on his social media account. This is the first time that he has posted an update on his pro-wrestling career ever since the departure from WWE. His future seems bright as he has brought back the hardcore wrestling persona of Jon Moxley that has the fans drooling over it as the post went viral all around the internet.

In case you don’t know, Jon Moxley was a household name in the independent circuit until he signed with the WWE and received a new character of Dean Ambrose. Most of his fame came from hardcore matches where he pulled off death-defying stunts. Those kinds of violent stuff are completely abandoned in WWE or most of the other renowned promotions.

But who does not love to go old school when it comes to pro-wrestling? The fans loved the video posted by Jon Moxley and made it a worldwide trend. This shows that they are anticipating the return of the hardcore legend. Even his Shield brethren Seth Rollins reacted to this alter ego of Dean Ambrose on Twitter. He posted an emoji potentially encouraging Jon Moxley to tear down the indie scene in the future.

The current Universal Champion also noted on Dean Ambrose departure and separation from the dominant group known as The Shield in an interview. Yesterday with TalkSport’s Alex McCarthy, Seth Rollins opened up about why his ‘brother from another mother’ has left WWE.
“For him, he just wanted the freedom to make his own decisions for the first time in the last eight or nine years.”
Seth Rollins seemed to be supportive for whatever the future holds for Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley. The road coming ahead for the former WWE Champion seems extremely bright as per the first impression left on social media. Jon Moxley has now a verified Twitter account which is the rarest we can expect from him. The posted video showed him breaking out of prison, which should be a reference to his WWE departure.
However, we should note that the Jon Moxley character can’t make an abrupt return to the pro-wrestling circuit. WWE.com released him with the following official statement,
“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”
So it is likely that they have attached a 90-day no-compete clause with him. It will bar him from competition for the next three months on any independent shows. After that, he may sign with another company with AEW being an option.
