Stephanie McMahon was not the Queen after the first arrival in the WWE. At the very beginning, she appeared as an extra on WWE TV. Later, she used to portray the character of a sweet innocent little girl.
Stephanie used to appear as the ‘daddy’s little girl’ on a weekly basis. It was until she got involved in storyline angles in an era which was not PG, at all.
She started a romantic angle with Test followed by Triple H. Going forward, Stephanie featured in such angles more to evolve herself as a prolific character on the WWE TV. As she had been able to prove her potential, the officials made her the women’s champion, as well. But, the journey has never been easy despite being the Boss’ daughter.
In a recent interview with Lilian Garcia, she revealed due to lack of performance, Stephanie almost got fired from the company once.
She noted in the interview of how it is like to work in the WWE when she is the daughter of the chairman. Admitting that WWE gave some unfair advantages of being the billion dollar princess, she added it had been a rough path all the way.
Maybe, Stephanie was not supposed to get the opportunities unless her name was Stephanie McMahon. But, that does mean she did not achieve it most efficiently. Vince McMahon always wanted her to be the very best than everybody else in the locker room. It is why she was about to get fired when she under-delivered.
While talking about her father’s perspective of seeing a performer, the WWE Raw commissioner stated the following, (courtesy stillrealtous.com),
“You have to be better than everybody else, and he puts you to that test every single day. I’ve almost been fired numerous times. It hasn’t always been pretty. I had to learn a lot along the way, and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. And I think that the only way you truly grow and get better is by making mistakes. But as Vince says, you can make mistakes, just don’t make the same mistake twice.”
Stephanie McMahon added her father always wanted to listen to his fans and give them what they wanted. She has been a learner of this process of her entire life and continued to evolve. There’s no denying no one is better than her, nowadays while representing the brand that WWE is.
This is why her name is a must in the brand representing conferences, anywhere in the world.
