The Shield faction will no more be intact on WWE roster from next week onwards. During Superstar Shakeup, Roman Reigns has moved on to the Smackdown Live brand. Seth Rollins will be taking care of the Raw brand defending his Universal Championship. As for Dean Ambrose, he is leaving the company this month after he gets finished performing in booked dates. But for one last time, the WWE Universe will get to see them together.

As reported earlier, The Shield will compete for one last time as a group on this Sunday Night. WWE Network is presenting a one-hour special televised edition of a live event hosted in Molin. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Universal Champion Seth Rollins will perform in the main event match. WWE has not officially disclosed their opponents, till now but the host venue did.

The TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois is presenting the show on April 21st which is now advertising the main event match. It appears that The Shield will be squaring off against three old nemeses from Monday Night Raw. The three bonafide heels Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre will take on them in a six-man tag team match. Here’s the ad being shown for The Shield’s Last Chapter:

“WWE Returns to Moline for the First Time in 2019! See your Favorite Superstars in Action Live: The Farewell Appearance of THE SHIELD as they take on DREW McINTYRE, ALL MIGHTY BOBBY LASHLEY & BARON CORBIN!
*Card Subject to change.
WWE is the Best Value in Entertainment!”

This appears to be a rematch from this year’s Fastlane PPV from March 10th. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins teamed up in their final PPV appearance as a faction to pick up a dominant win en route to Wrestlemania 35. They will be looking forward to reincarnating the scene while performing in Molin, two days later.

No doubt, this will be yet another emotional for the WWE fans as they got to see The Shield for one last time. The greatest faction in WWE’s history may not appear as a team after this, at all. So despite a repetitive match, the crowd is likely to enjoy the outing from this weekend’s live event. They will also get to see Finn Balor defending his Intercontinental title against an undisclosed opponent.
