It’s incredible to think that the pro-wrestling juggernaut has already spent 29 years in the WWE earning the rapport of the most furious striker in WWE history. He will soon be celebrating the 30th anniversary in this business. But prior to that, WWE might have brought a breath of fresh air to the fans who were in tension about the Deadman’s WWE status.
As per the revelation made by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Undertaker has recently inked a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. It could certainly mean that he has a few more matches left in him inside the squared circle as the new deal will come to fruition, sooner.
Dave Meltzer of the source revealed that The Undertaker inked that multi-year deal confirms that he will be present in WWE in different capacities. He could not reveal how long the contract will be intact. But the time span is so long that we can mention this one as a lifetime-long-signed contract. Here’s more from Meltzer,
“The new deal Undertaker signed, while not exactly a lifetime contract, is so long that for all intents and purposes it is.”
It’s great news for the WWE officials as they can’t expect a better solution to TV rating problem than The Deadman. Even after so many years, this tradition on WWE has been the same. Every time, we feel there’s some kind of void on the show, the gong hit to make us delightful. The tradition is likely to continue for some more years.
The Undertaker faced Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia which was not a critically acclaimed performance. Speculation started whether he will head into retirement after this. But he was soon back into the scene prior to Extreme Rules PPV. It was a solid tag team action where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to defeat the team of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.
