WWE has confirmed quite a stacked match card for Money in the Bank pay-per-view following this week’s Raw and Smackdown. The upcoming show was going through a lackluster buildup for the past several weeks which needed a major boost-up. Adding some big-time matches seemed much needed for the first WWE Network special following Wrestlemania 35.

This is definitely not the final match card for WWE Money in the Bank PPV as three more championship matches could be in the pipeline to become official. Two of them could take place from Smackdown Live whereas one may occur from Monday Night Raw. The belts in concern are the United States and the tag team championships from men and women’s division.

Samoa Joe is the current United States Champion on Monday Night Raw. On this past episode, he suffered a pinfall loss against Rey Mysterio. This was a clear setup for a future match between these two especially considering that WWE has not added either one of them for Money in the Bank ladder match. So it’s just a matter of time to see these two square off in a title match at the upcoming PPV.
Next in line for title shots could be none other than the tag team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. On their debut night of Smackdown Live, they picked up a huge win over the champions, The IIconics that should hand the brand new team a title opportunity at Money in the Bank. With Paige being their manager, this team is up for a huge push in the near future.
Lastly, WWE Raw tag team championships should also be up for grabs at the Money in the Bank PPV. The current champions, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder are having a lackluster title reign which needs to end. The Usos and The Revival are also building up a storyline alongside the champions that suggests probably a three-way title match is coming up.
