WWE’s tour to the United Kingdom kicked off last night with a Raw-exclusive house show. It was held at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland where the main event featured The Shield.
As we all know, Roman Reigns is missing from action due to viral affection, and a surprising member joined Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
It was none other than Triple H who acted as the third member for the Hounds of Justice. The moment of The Game having the iconic fist-bump gave goose-bumps to the fans present in the arena. It was a surreal scene, as the cerebral assassin of the WWE donned the Shield in-ring gear to compete in the match.
As earlier announced that the 14-time world champion would be performing on this year’s UK tour of the WWE. However, it did not confirm that in which capacity we can expect him to perform. This particular appearance is a big indication that he might intend to stay along with The Shield for the rest of the tour.
On last night’s live event, the Hounds of Justice had a match against the team of Sheamus, Cesaro and Bray Wyatt. The latter one returned to in-ring action after getting over the meningitis infection for the past few weeks. It is the main event in which the Shield emerged victorious to the delight of the crowd.
Although Triple H joining the most popular faction in WWE is quite amazing, it does affect the storyline perspective. Over the years, the group had quite a bad blood with the Game. He was the one to recruit Seth Rollins by his side to destroy them in 2014. So, it does not leave any reason whatsoever why the man would join the opposing faction.

Also, before this year’s Wrestlemania, Triple H intended to end the career of Seth Rollins causing in the unsanctioned match between the two of them. So, it was quite unlikely seeing them bonding together in a match without no previous fallout.
However, The Game is said to be acting as the replacement of Roman Reigns in this UK tour since the franchise player was pulled off from the entire schedule. So, the creative teams did not have any other better choice to fill in the gap.
