Becky Lynch is set for another historic outing at the 2019 edition of Money in the Bank pay per view event. As previously noted, she will be the first woman to defend two women’s championships on one single night. It sounds like WWE is hell-bent on making the nickname of Becky Two Belts successful and thereby putting both her titles on the line.

Becky’s new goals as a dual champion
So The Man will have to pull off double duties on May 19th trying to knock off her two opponents. She defends the RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans and the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. Both the challengers seem hell-bent on taking the belts away from the existing champion.

However, WWE knows very well that Becky Lynch is the most popular superstar present on the roster with the highest merchandise moving figure. So the will trying to protect her strong image no matter what even she has to drop one of her championships at Money in the Bank pay per view.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE will use the factor of Becky Lynch competing in two matches in her favor. There’s a big chance that she may lose the Smackdown women’s championship to Charlotte Flair. In that case, they can show that Becky got exhausted or tired after competing in two separate matches. This would not harm her image of suffered a pinfall or submission loss.
The officials may even create a kayfabe injury after the first match similar to that of Royal Rumble 2019 in order to protect Becky Lynch’s strong status. Again this would be a desperate try to keep her relevant as the poster girl of the women’s division. Sources do not wipe out the chances of a Money in the Bank cash-in as well if she eventually retains both the championships.
Lastly, we may not have to go through with title alterations at all if Becky Lynch closes Money in the Bank with both the belts shining bright around her shoulders. Wrestling veteran Lance Storm recently spoke in an interview with prowrestling.com to indicate that Charlotte Flair will digest a simple loss to the current champion. WWE booked the repeated lineup since they do not want any fresh inclusion from Smackdown to suffer a loss either to Becky. Here are the full comments from Storm,
“She’s probably just going to the pay-per-view to lose again to Becky. If that is the case, it’s like, so do you want to take Ember Moon, someone who hasn’t had that run yet on top in WWE and beat her in her first match, just because well, we don’t want Charlotte in that spot again? It’s like they want everything they want the second they want it and they think they understand enough and obviously this is a vocal minority, I’m not saying everybody’s this dumb.”
