One of the most surprising affairs took place on this week’s episode of WWE Raw during the main event match. Sami Zayn defeated Braun Strowman in the Falls Count Anywhere contest. It happened via a three-on-one beatdown, though. Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin teamed up to help Sami during the match. They were the one to help to gain the pinfall to the newest member of 2019 Money in the Bank ladder match.

Potential Spoiler On WWE Championship Match At Money In The Bank

Braun Strowman will not be able to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match as per the stipulation put into it. Sami Zayn has won the match. Hence he will now replace Strowman in the Men’s Money In The Bank 2019 ladder match this Sunday. The match will hand over a guaranteed opportunity to the winner for a future championship match.

The sudden change in the Money in the Bank ladder match came as a huge shocker. Braun Strowman is also a protected guy on the Monday Night Raw roster. So his loss raised eyebrows to a lot of fans. They wondered if some kind of backstage heat is the reason why WWE had to remove him from such a huge matchup.

Well, there’s no such news is available around the monster among men. Rather the Wrestling Observer noted that he is dealing with an injury. Due to WWE’s schedule, he was wrestling in an injured state. So the creative team did not want to hurt him further by inserting into perhaps the most dangerous match in the WWE environment.

Here’s more from wwfoldschool.com suggesting the injury is not severe though,

“WWE removed him from the Men’s Money In The Bank 2019 ladder match to avoid worsening his injury. Strowman has a biceps/triceps injury, but it is not serious enough to put him out of action.”

It must be a sigh of relief for the creative team that Braun Strowman is not dealing with another big injury. In late 2018, he had to undergo a surgery in his hand putting one of the WWE TLC main events in jeopardy. Later, they have also removed him from the Royal Rumble Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar. Hopefully, he’ll not have to miss action due to the current injury.
