Alexa Bliss is part of the rumor mill for a long time due to an injury. It is reportedly an undisclosed concussion that is preventing her to compete inside the squared circle. The hiatus is actually going on for a long time fuelling up the speculations of a potential retirement. It’s sad to even think of the same as a young career could come to an end, all of a sudden.
Thankfully, we did receive some positive updates regarding the career of Alexa Bliss. A Hall of Famer cum backstage official opened up on to put an end to the ongoing rumors. Mark Henry spoke on the Sirius XM Busted Open Radio to clarify that The Goddess is over with the concussion. So it might not a long time before he finally comes back from the injury.

Mark Henry also spoke up revealing the severity of this concussion. He recently had a backstage “come to Jesus conversation” with Alexa Bliss. The current in-charge of the WWE Raw women’s roster revealed that she could not remember her trip from London to Switzerland. The problem was in her head giving some serious troubles, (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
“We were flying from London to Switzerland and she said, ‘I couldn’t remember what flight or anything. I had to rely on everyone else telling me what to do. I couldn’t stand up straight, I had vertigo.’ She said she was in a bad way, and then she came back too soon, banged her head again, and really was in a bad place.”
Apparently, the concussion around Alexa Bliss started after Hell in a Cell. He did not wrestle on TV after this. Officials inserted her to examine health condition in a live event. One throw from Ronda Rousey banged her up once again and barred from performing at Evolution.
The World’s Strongest Man gave a good news that she is over with the dealt issues. Doctors medically cleared her to come back to in-ring competition. The former world champion also gave a pep talk to Little Miss Bliss so that she does not lose hope in her career,
“Now she’s fine. She’s been cleared. We are very happy she’s going to be back in the fray, and I just wanted to remind her who she was. ‘Remember who you are, don’t go back too soon if you’re not ready, and when you go back – Ronda’s great, and Nia is doing her thing, and Becky & Charlotte, but you are a major player. And remember, when you come back, be who you are.'”
At this point, there’s no confirmed returning date for Alexa Bliss. This could be a long time before she comes back to competition depending on the medical team’s decision. But Mark Henry also revealed that she can be back within a week, as well. She is training at the NXT performance center on a regular basis to ensure the same.

However, WrestleZone revealed an update from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer which states Alexa Bliss is still not 100 percent medically cleared. She can take ‘light bumps’ inside the ring and involve in a limited amount of physical activity. This suggests that she might have to train a lot under the officials to get the full clean-chit.
