This week’s WWE NXT prominently featured several women superstars on the card and also in the main event spotlight. Veteran WWE Superstar Natalya performed in the headliner spot against a newbie in Cora Jade. NXT Women’s Breakout tournament started while NXT women’s tag team champions were also in action on the show that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results:

– Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) (c) defeated Wendy Choo and Roxanne Perez to retain WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships in the opening contest. Mandy Rose was at ringside trying to create a distraction for the challengers.

The chaos led Perez to go for a Code Red on Dolin, but Jayne superkick-ed her while the referee wasn’t looking. Dolin took advantage and covered Perez for the pin to win. After the match, WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose told Wendy Choo that she will never look beautiful like her.

– The Creed Brothers were upset with the fact that Roderick Strong interfered in their match, last week. They announced that they will not only face The Viking Raiders the right way, next week but also will defeat them. Strong also introduced Damon Kemp as a new member of Diamond Mine.

– Joe Gacy invited WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker to join him and his Druids for their movement for eternal joy in a promo session. Bron wasn’t there but it appears he will respond to the challenge, next week.

WWE NXT 2.0 Results (10/05/22): Natalya vs. Cora Jade, Toxic Attraction; Women’s Tournament 2

– Fallon Henley defeated Sloane Jacobs to advance to the next round of WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. Henley nailed a running knee on her opponent to get a clean pinfall win.

– Alba Fyre (fka Kay Lee Ray) defeated Amari Miller during her re-debut on the NXT brand. Fyre hit her opponent with a Glasgow Kiss headbutt and then dropped Miller with the Fyre Bomb, the former KLR Bomb. Fyre then nailed a Swanton Bomb to get a dominant win on her opponent.

– Solo Sikoa said in a promo that it doesn’t matter who WWE NXT North American Champion is, Cameron Grimes or Carmelo Hayes since he’s coming for the title.

Grimes came out and announced that Hayes is getting a Title shot at the In Your House special and Solo has to wait for his opportunity. Carmelo and Trick Williams then attacked Grimes but Solo then took out both the heels to save Grimes.

– Tony D’Angelo, Channing Stacks Lorenzo, and Troy Two Dimes Donovan attacked Cruz Del Toro and kidnapped him in a backstage segment.

– In a mixed tag team match, Sarray and Andre Chase defeated Tiffany Stratton and Grayson Waller. Bodhi Hayward blew an air horn that distracted everyone. Sarray took advantage of it and rolled Stratton up for the pin to win while Chase kept Waller from rushing back in.

WWE NXT 2.0 Results (10/05/22): Women’s Breakout tourney continues

– Nikkita Lyons defeated Arianna Grace (Santino Marella’s daughter) to advance to the next round of WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. After a German Suplex, Lyons dropped the big split over Grace and covered for the pin to win.

– Mandy Rose stated in a backstage segment that she can’t imagine what Indi Hartwell is going through, right now because no man has ever left her like Indi’s man (Dexter Lumis) left her.

– Natalya defeated Cora Jade in the main event of WWE NXT 2.0. Nattie applied the Sharpshooter and tightened the hold as Jade passed out to the submission move. In a show of respect, Natalya shook hands with jade and shared a huge with her to end the show.
