The bracket for the inaugural WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament was revealed heading into this week’s episode. Besides the tourney was also underway starting with the episode that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Two stars advanced to WWE NXT women’s breakout tournament semi-final
While no matches were officially announced for this week’s WWE NXT, we did receive two first matchups for the series. Last night’s show saw Fallon Henley defeat Sloane Jacobs in a first-round match, while Nikkita Lyons defeated Arianna Grace in another first-round bout. Hence, Henley vs. Lyons will now take place in the semi-finals.

During Henley vs. Jacobs, the latter was trapped in an arm submission by her opponent but she fought back. The two competitors traded more offenses and pin attempts until Henley nailed a running knee to the face for the pin to win and advance to the semi-finale matchup.
In the second match of the tournament on WWE NXT, Lyons hit her opponent with a running back elbow into the corner, then a superkick, and another superkick to drop her. Lyons delivered a big German suplex. Grace got up but Lyons quickly put her back down with a roundhouse kick. Lyons then connected with the big split over Grace to get the pin to win and advance.
Next week’s WWE NXT 2.0 episode will feature Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James and Lash Legend vs. Tatum Paxley in the final two first-round matches. The final match should feature in the coming weeks with Lyons or Henley vs. Perez or James or Legend or Paxley, with the winner receiving a contract for a title shot from NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.
