Halloween Havoc builds were the focal point of this week’s WWE NXT 2.0 as the potential main event match for the PLE was confirmed. Women’s Tag Team Champions and Women’s Champions were in action non-title matches on the night that had a Pub Rules Match in the main capacity. Here’re the results from the latest NXT episode from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida,
– NXT Champion Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, and JD McDonagh appeared in a face-to-face segment to set up the next title match. Bron mentioned due to being a Steiner, he’s good at math and he has a 33 1/3 percent chance of beating both Ilja and JD at Halloween Havoc in a Triple Threat match.
WWE NXT 2.0: Mandy Rose Ready To Tie The Knot With Her Boyfriend
– WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose (with Gigi Dolin and Jacey Jayne) defeated Fallon Henley in the opening contest of WWE NXT. Henley delivered a kick to Rose’s midsection but Rose backfired with the pumping knee strike to get the win. Alba Fyre appeared then appeared in a promo on the big screen as she promised to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
Extreme Rules 2022: Ladder Match Set; Updated WWE PLE Match Card
– Apollo Crews appeared in a backstage promo and reminded everyone how Grayson Waller gave him a red eye with a vicious attack.
– Wes Lee defeated Tony D’Angelo To Qualify For The Fatal-5-Way Ladder Match for WWE NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc. Tony was injured after contacting the turnbuckles after which the referee declared Lee to be the winner.
WWE NXT 2.0 Results (20/09/22): Sol Ruca made her in-ring debut on NXT
– Sol Ruca made her debut on WWE NXT to defeat Amari Miller. After a drop-kick, Ruca used a flip out of the corner onto Miller as her finisher to win the match.
– Joe Gacy (with The Dyads) defeated Cameron Grimes in a short match. The Dyads caused a distraction from ringside as Gacy hit the Upside Down World for the victory.
– Nikkita Lyons (with Zoey Stark) defeated one-half of the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter (with Katana Chance) in a singles contest. Carter delivered a chop but Lyons countered with a dual kick followed by her pendant split-legged leg-drop for the win.
WWE Raw: New 2022 Money In The Bank Holder To Be Crowned?
– Ilja Dragunov defeated Xyon Quinn in another short match. Ilja delivered a series of suplexes followed by a running uppercut to get an easy victory.
– Brutus Creed vs. Damon Kemp ended in a DQ as Kemp used a chair to Creed’s midsection. The attack continued after the match as Julius Creed came out for help. Kemp scared him away using the chair.
– In the main event of WWE NXT 2.0, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) in a Pub Rules Match. Briggs and Jensen sent Coffey and Wolfgang through two separate tables and then pinned Wolfgang with the high-low combination.
After the match, Gallus attacked Briggs and Jensen but the security ran down to prevent them. Gallus put their hands on some officials and as a process got arrested to send the show off the air.
