This week’s episode of WWE NXT declared two huge Title Unification Matches for the next special event stored from the brand. NXT UK Tag Team Titles were on the line on this episode that had a unique Lights Out match in the main event spotlight. – WWE NXT started with a confrontation between NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate and NXT Champion Bron Breakker. The latter challenged the former in a title match which was accepted after Bate mentioned himself as the ‘last NXT UK’ champion. That title unification match was confirmed for the Worlds Collide event on September 4.
WWE Smackdown: Surprise Debut In Tag Team Tournament; Ronda Rousey Arrested
– Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) defeated Pretty Deadly (Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs) in the WWE NXT UK Tag Team Championship match. Both the team members got engaged in a fight and didn’t stop despite the referee’s denial. Thus, the referee called for the match bell for a count-out and the titles never changed hands.

– The Grayson Waller Effect show debuted on WWE NXT with special guest Apollo Crews. Waller blasted Crews in the beginning as Crews also called himself to be ‘a cheap version of The Miz’. He ended the segment by punching Crews in the face.
– Cameron Grimes defeated Javier Bernal by hitting with his Cave-In finisher.
WWE NXT 2.0 Results (23/08/22): Blair Davenport debuts
– Blair Davenport defeated Indi Hartwell in her in-ring debut match. Hartwell was cut off by Indi while doing a top rope move. Blair then delivered a kick to her opponent’s head followed by her finisher for the win.
– After the match, Blair Davenport called herself the Number-One Contender for WWE NXT UK Women’s Championship but now she’d mind going after the NXT Women’s Championship.
The two champions arrived at the ring to confirm the Triple Threat Title Unification Match for Worlds Collide event. Meiko Satomura vs. Mandy Rose vs. Blair Davenport would be the lineup with both the title hanging in the balance.
– Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell reunited on TV as they hugged and kissed each other before police arrived at the scene and took away Dexter for kidnapping The Miz on Raw.
– The Dyad (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid with Joe Gacy) defeated Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro of Legado del Fantasma in a tag team match. Fowler broke up the pin attempt by Legado who hit a double DDT on Jagger. Jagger and Fowler then hit their finisher on Toro to get the pinfall win.
– WWE NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate defeated Von Wagner in a non-title match. After a cannonball kick to Wagner’s head, Bate connected with the Spinning Boy for the win.
– Wendy Choo defeated Tiffany Stratton in a Lights Out Main Event Match on WWE NXT 2.0. Choo threw powder at her opponent’s face and then sent her through the bed. Choo then hit a Frogsplash off the top rope for the pinfall win.
After the match, Mandy Rose, Meiko Satomura, and Blair Davenport signed the contract for their Worlds Collide Title Unification Triple Threat Match. Bron Breakker and Tyler Bate were also seen signing the contract as the show went off the air.
