WWE NXT has been taping its shows from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for a long time. Since the beginning of the pandemic, their touring schedule has been withdrawn for the third brand of the WWE but now it might be the time for them to reportedly come back on the road.
It was reported recently today via Wrestling Observer Radio that there have been talks of WWE NXT possibly resuming a touring schedule of live events. Then, POST Wrestling’s John Pollock also reports that a schedule has been put together for the possible touring for the revamped brand.
WWE Performance Center To Be Expanded And Improved
It has been reported that the WWE NXT brand is set to resume non-televised live events in the state of Florida beginning in June. As noted above, NXT has not held any non-televised house shows since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. There was a point that the previous black-and-gold brand used to hold two groups touring, one for the state of Florida, and another in various states across the country.
It was noted by the sources that the current plan is for the WWE NXT roster to roam around just the state of Florida beginning next month, but it’s possible that they resume road trips around the country in the near future. WWE’s main roster touring was also in halt for a long time before it was finally resumed starting on July 16 of last year.
WWE NXT will also present an In Your House Specials in June
Recent reports also claim that a WWE NXT In Your House event is planned for Saturday, June 4, but no location was revealed. WWE officials are reportedly still thinking about whether the show would be held outside of Orlando or not but there’s no confirmed update is available.
WWE should be officially announcing the event, soon. As for the main roster, the next WWE Network Specials, Hell In a Cell Premium Live Event is scheduled for Sunday, June 5 near Chicago, Illinois.
As you can see, WWE NXT In Your House 2022 will be happening on the same weekend while their weekly episodes will continue to air live from the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday nights. NXT North American Champion Cameron Grimes revealed this week that he will be defending against Carmelo Hayes at an upcoming In Your House event.
