The off-TV storyline featuring WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker and top Raw Superstar Dolph Ziggler is being stretched out. Last week, the champion was called out while this week, he received a response from him which leaves an opportunity to witness a possible championship match in the future.
LA Knight featured in a backstage post-RAW segment with Ziggler and Robert Roode. Knight had words with The Dirty Dawgs, and invited them to come to see him at WWE NXT on any Tuesday night. Ziggler responded and said they don’t work on Tuesdays. But the segment eventually teased that we could see some physical confrontations between Knight and the RAW Superstars in the future.

Breakker then tweeted a GIF of rapper Bad Bunny eliminating Ziggler from the Royal Rumble Match and also took a shot at the WWE veteran.
“Says he doesn’t work on Tuesdays … apparently he can’t work on Saturday either @HEELZiggler,” WWE NXT Champion wrote, tagging Ziggler in the post.

Ziggler had some strong words for WWE NXT Champion
Ziggler was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber after his RAW loss to hometown star Angelo Dawkins in Cincinnati, last week. He was asked if he felt the energy from the fans. Ziggler mentioned how he’s seen many talents come and go from the WWE, but there’s a reason why he’s still here in the big league.
In another backstage interview following this week’s Raw, Ziggler was again asked about the situation when he teased possibly visiting WWE NXT to go after the championship held by Breakker,
“A lot of people ask me after matches like this, ‘Dolph, you good?’ I go, ‘No, not good, I’m the best MF’er we got.’ So maybe one of these days those people that run their mouths online have to deal with me, in person. So maybe Breakker and his title, maybe I take it away from him. Maybe I stop by, who’s to say? Anyway, good luck kid, keep throwing your name out online, it works for everybody.”
At present, Breakker is booked to defend his WWE NXT Title at Vengeance Day 2022 against Santos Escobar. Ziggler was asked whether he’s aware of the tweet posted by Breakker to which the show-off responded in a negative manner. As of now, there’s no update on whether Ziggler and his tag partner Roode will be heading to Tuesday nights.
