WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match has been made official for the Great American Bash 2021 event. The NXT go-home show for that event opened with a Triple Threat Number-one Contenders’ match to determine the challengers for NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell of The Way.
That match witnessed Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defeat Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon alongside Dakota Kai and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. Shirai earned the pinfall win over Kai by her pendant moonsault move.
After this win, WWE confirmed that Shirai and Stark vs. The Way with the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line will go down at the Great American Bash 2021.

LA Knight will also put his NXT Million Dollar Title on the line in a rematch against Cameron Grimes, next week during next Tuesday’s WWE NXT Great American Bash 2021 special. This week, Grimes defeated Ari Sterling in singles action. The match occurred as payback for Sterling for mocking WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, last week.
After Grimes pinned Ari with the Cave-In finisher, LA Knight interrupted and cut a promo on Grimes being a loser. Grimes then challenged Knight to put the Million Dollar title on the line at Great American Bash 2021. Knight eventually agreed to the match but he added a stipulation of his own.

Grimes vs. Knight with the Million Dollar Title was then made official for next Tuesday, but Grimes will have to become Knight’s butler if he fails to win the match and thereby capture the title.
This will mark Knight’s first title defense since defeating Grimes in a Ladder Match at NXT Takeover: In Your House event that took place on June 13, to win the vacant belt. There’s no update on whether Ted DiBiase will be there at the Bash, next Tuesday. He has been kept off TV since Knight attacked him after TakeOver event.
